The Performance view (under the Portfolio menu) allows you to view the aggregate performance data from your portfolio. This view shows you an overall picture of the following metrics:

  • Total Portfolio Value

    • The total value of your realized and unrealized returns, based on the latest valuation data available from the platform and updates you provide.

  • Unrealized Return

    • The total value of investments that have yet to distribute any capital, inclusive of the investments you have made and any valuation markups or markdowns experienced.

  • Realized Return

    • The value of any distributions you have received to date, based on the updates you provide.

  • Total Amount Invested

    • The sum total amount you've invested in all of your portfolio companies.

  • Average Investment (Check Size)

    • The average amount you've invested based on all investments in your portfolio.

    • Multiple on Invested Capital represents the total value of an investment relative to its initial cost. Simply put, it shows how many times over you've multiplied your original investment.

This view also shows graphics for the Yearly Totals from your portfolio investments, the Round Breakdown, an Industry Breakdown, and the Amount Invested per Round.

These metrics give you an overview of your exposure at various company stages and industries to understand your portfolio in aggregate and how it is evolving to support your investment thesis or overall strategy.

An updated breakdown and filtering mechanism will be coming soon, where you will be able to look at these metrics, and more, on a yearly basis.
